“Crevescer” is the time gone by that turns growing up into aging. It is a reflection embodied in a performance of a man — not yet old, but not young anymore —in this continuous process that changes name along the way. With what is common and different between growing up and getting old, what we dream to become when we grow up and what we remember from when we were children.
Crevescer is sort of a sequel to Sopa Nuvem. In it, we find António with a common fixation in grown-ups, but incomprehensible to children: he doesn't want to have his birthday. But his 10-year-old neighbour Rosa is excited to walk alone to school for the first time!
